This is my kiln. The kiln has three shelves and the distance between the shelves can be adjusted by using different height kiln props. My ceramics are fired twice: the first firing is called a bisque firing and it turns the air dried clay into something which will not dissolve in water. The second firing is used to glaze the bisque fired clay.
